Refund and Return Policy

At artngift.in, we take great pride in the quality of our gifts. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Since many of our items are handcrafted or artistic, we have established the following policy:

1. Eligibility for Returns & Replacements

We accept return or replacement requests only under the following conditions:

  • Damaged during transit: The product reached you in a broken or unusable state.

  • Defective item: The product has a genuine manufacturing defect.

  • Wrong item delivered: You received a product different from what you ordered.

2. Non-Returnable Items

To maintain quality and hygiene, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Customized/Personalized Gifts: Items made specifically for you (e.g., custom engravings, photo gifts).

  • Perishable Items: Such as chocolates, sweets, or flowers.

  • Items on Sale: Products purchased during a clearance or “Final Sale.”

  • Used Items: Products that show signs of use or are missing original tags/packaging.

3. Reporting an Issue (Mandatory Unboxing Video)

To protect against fraudulent claims, we require an unboxing video for all damage or “wrong item” claims:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • The video should be unedited, showing the unopened package from all sides before opening it.

  • Send the video and your Order ID to [Insert Email Address] or via WhatsApp at [Insert Phone Number].

4. The Refund Process

Once your return request is approved and the item is received back at our Khardaha facility:

  • Verification: We will inspect the item to ensure it meets the return criteria.

  • Approval: Upon approval, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method.

  • Timeline: Refunds typically reflect in your account within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.

  • Store Credit: You may also choose to receive a refund in the form of a store coupon for immediate use.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Dispatch: You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placement for a full refund.

  • After Dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been handed over to our courier partner. For personalized items, cancellations are only possible if production has not yet started.
